Bikes come in all shapes and sizes, for some reason I really like the odd ones. This Surly Big Dummy is one of my favorites! We set it up for one of our favorite cycling families, it's able to carry two children and a bunch of groceries, and it's way cooler than a mini van!

Bombing on a Budget ! 2015 Scott Scale 950

The SCOTT Scale 950 features a super light 6061 aluminum frame that boasts an array of formed and butted tubes along with a tapered head tube to deliver a strong, stiff and responsive ride. The series comes fully equipped with a Fox 32 Float Evolution CTD fork has 100mm of travel that can be easily tuned among the 3 modes (Climb, Trail, Descend) called RideLoc. Shimano double-ringed crankset is paired with a 10-speed, 11-36t cassette for a capable range of gears. Shimano Deore shifters and Xt rear derailleur move cleanly and precisely through the 20 gears. Surly Moonlander Demo Bike

This bad larry accomodates staggeringly wide 4.7˝ tires on 100mm rims. Such a large footprint allows you to ride them at very low pressure, and like a snowshoe enables even greater traction and float over all kinds of terrain…wet stuff, roots, rocks, pebbles, gravel, sand, and many types of snow.

Moonlander, like its name implies, is meant to go beyond where normal bikes, even normal fat bikes, can go. It is designed from the ground up to ride where there are no roads, no trails, no people.
